From Exeter take the A38 to Plymouth.

Cross the River Tamar via the Tamar Bridge to Saltash which runs along side the famous Brunel rail bridge or the car ferry at Torpoint.

Via Saltash

Pass through the tunnel following the (A38) through the villages of Landrake and Tideford until the roundabout at  Trerulefoot.

Take the first left (A374) and travel for about 1 mile, take a right turn for Looe (A387) passing through the village of Hessenford.

Via Torpoint

Take the A374,pass  through the Villages of Antony & Polbathic then turn left on to the A387 pass through Hessenford.

You will approach the village of Shortacross & Widegates (B3253) and will pass Coombe Farm Hotel on the left, about half a mile on the right set back in gardens of trees and shrubs is Down Ende House.
